WORD FROM THE TEAM

Dear Members and Friends,

GES is a Swiss non-profit organization, and through its combination with a social network, a new kind of Think & Act Tank.

Causes for environmental problems should not be regarded individually, as a problem often results from a combination of many factors. GES points out holistic coherencies and supports the search and implementation of solutions.

We cannot stop global growth but we can ensure that it happens in harmony with nature. We therefore tackle the vicious circle of inaction between consumers, the industry and politics and foster environmental education and innovation.

GES shows the necessity to foster sustainable development and minimize the consumption of energy and natural resources wherever possible. By comprehending economic and social aspects, GES aspires to reduce the degree of negative impacts on nature and people, in order to accomplish environmentally acceptable growth.

As many of you know we have changed our system and are still in the Beta phase, so please be patient concerning the Pool of Experts, Blogs and Forums, we are working on these sections, but gave priority to the Articles and Membership first.

We welcome you to our new site and look forward to seeing you in active exchange with your fellow Members.

Enjoy being with friends!

Your GES-Team
